FAQs COVID-19

Following the announcement from the Government, we are pleased to inform you that we can welcome you back to the park from Saturday, 4th July. We will have our Covid-19 secure safe policy in place, and full details of this will be available at reception. Atlantic Coast Holiday Park is accepting online bookings we are working hard but please try and book online it's secure and fast. We have to respect social distancing but let’s do it with friendliness and a smile for each other.

Q. I live in a Tier 3 area and have been told I am safer here rather than being at home?

A. The instruction to close the park means that you need to return home to your place of residence. The reason for this is so that you can use the healthcare professionals and services in your own area. If confined to your residence you will also be able to access deliveries for food and medication, which you cannot on our park.

Q. Can I visit the park to close my caravan for the winter and/or to clear my belongings from it?

A. No. The park will be closed to vehicular traffic and nobody will be allowed access - this is to protect any of our staff who may still be working and also to adhere to the lockdown restriction. We will give any assistance we can for these sort of situations.

Q. I think I have symptoms of Coronavirus so I need to self-isolate at my Caravan.

A. You cannot do this as you need to self-isolate in your place of residence. You need to use PPE to keep yourself safe and plan your journey home immediately. You can then access medical care as necessary, in your own area.

Q. Will I be receiving a refund on my pitch fees for the period that the park is closed?

A. Any queries of this nature should be addressed to phillip@normanhurst.net, as we did in the last lockdown.

Q. Will my caravan be secure whilst the park is closed?

A. Our staff will ensure that regular security checks are carried out and we will do our upmost to protect your holiday home.

Q. Do I need to tell my insurance company that the park is closed?

A. Yes this is advisable, but you can tell them that the park is still being monitored and managed by our employees.

Q. Can I ask a friend or relative who lives near the park, to visit and check on my caravan?

A. No. The park is closed to all visitors and it is important that nobody enters the park during an enforced lockdown, for obvious safety reasons.

And Finally……..Our teams are working hard to keep all owners on all our parks safe and informed. Please respect our staff in this difficult time we are trying are very best to help everyone.
