Located a stone's throw from the beach and within easy walking distance of a bus-stop, Pakefield offers 12 level touring pitches on level ground and accessed by a tarmac roads. The pitches all feature 16A hook-ups and are serviced by a modern toilet block. The touring area is next to the main holiday home site and this offers the convenience of a shop, bar and restaurant, as well as a heated outdoor swimming (open 21 May to end of September). Pakefield village offers a variety of shops, while a Morrisons supermarket is less than half a mile away. Lowestoft itself is a traditional seaside town.

Near the coastline of St Ives Bay and fringed by dunes, Atlantic Coast Park is only minutes away from the sands of Gwithian Beach, which is popular with surfers and families alike. Head in the other direction and you'll find St Ives itself, which offers seafood restaurants and the Tate Gallery. On-site there's a shop selling freshly-baked bread, a takeaway serving hot food twice daily and a modern toilet and shower block (with disabled facilities). Fully-serviced pitches with 16A hook-ups are available. A bus to St Ives, Penzance and Newquay departs from reception. Site also offers free Wi-Fi.

Garreg Goch Caravan Park

Garreg Goch Caravan Park is predominantly a static caravan park but also has 18 seasonal pitches and 7 touring pitches on hardstanding. The site is level and the touring pitches are all adjacent to the children’s play area. The site is extremely well kept with planters full of flowers dotted around, while the shop stocks a good choice of groceries, milk, ice creams and newspapers. There's a dedicated disabled shower/wet room with toilet. Just a few minutes walk from the site is the wide open beach of Black Rock Sands, which affords fantastic views across to Harlech with its famous castle, with free WIFI.

Whitby Holiday Park

Enjoying a cliff-top location, with many pitches having a view of the sea, Whitby Holiday Park is one of the closest campsites to Whitby. It offers pitches with 16A electric hook-ups on firm grass. Cliff-top paths lead down to sandy beaches, with Whitby and the ruins of the gothic abbey being a gentle stroll away. The site also has a bar (that serves food), evening entertainment at peak times, together with a games room and takeaway. There's also a toilet block, shop and laundry room. Pretty Whitby offers a wide variety of shops, pubs and great fish restaurants (try the Magpie Cafe).
